Having spent a considerable number of years in the United Kingdom as a student and working life in the City, she swapped the bright lights to return to Malaysia and promptly founded Winecellars in 1996. The rapid meteoric rise of Winecellars to become dominant in all sectors of the wine market in East Malaysia is testament to her work ethics, vision and passion for the wine industry.

During her spare time, she enjoys travelling, skiing, discovering new wines, living the lifestyle of a wine enthusiast and always with her family.

Gary Teng (BA)

Co founded Winecellars together with Meng. After spending his education and long working life in the United Kingdom, he is now involved in his other family businesses including property, distribution of food, building materials and manufacturing of steel reinforcement. He complement his wife in their desire to explore the world through their eyes and mouth. Activities with his family is what he treasures most.
